Julia Frey's book is so astonishingly graphic Lautrec and Montmartre his world, that one wonders if some of the text used poetic license. Frey, however, most of their statements protected by a hard document archive. While modestly presents his work as a card Colorado University, did a brilliant job. Me and some of my friends have their book to enrich our travels in Europe and particularly Paris used. Julia, you should in a book on Montmartre, a little 'that have not yet done so authoritatively, and many people in my opinion.

I thought the biography of Toulouse-Lautrec would be very interesting in view of the famous people he has encountered in his short but colorful biography life.This, but one of the most boring I've ever read.Its a shame because I 'am sure a better writer could be a great story of this man and this life.Avoid watch Moulin Rouge with Jose Ferrer as Toulouse-Lautrec, rather than produced.

I read this book with the intention to collect a few details here and there in an essay I wrote. but when I started reading I have become increasingly interested in reading the whole book.
The book provides many details of Lautrec's life I found interetsing and stimulating. such as his family and the company has rejected as it fell in his career and became friends with the people of Montmartre. I recommend this book to anyone with an interest in the light ofLautrec. You can learn a lot from him

All new documentation fingers Julia Frey was able to paint a much brighter. Wishy washy brush your payments without a goal for the diminutive artist in shades of gray. Oh, I'm sure has made thousands of facts, figures, more than you take in the facts or a file ', but they prefer? ... Can you paint? ... It may be interesting to write about? Unfortunately for Julia Frey cliche is always a small picturesque village on a hill halfway between Paris and remain embeddedTexas.
